A Celsius screw heat exchanger will keep solids at the correct temperature during the production process.
Sometimes solids need to remain at a fixed temperature for a set period of time, for example, to achieve the desired reaction. This is especially important in the food industry, when making or mixing dough for confectionery, for example.
During the production process, it can sometimes be necessary to keep solids at the same temperature for a certain period of time. When mixing, it may be that solids need to be kept at a constant temperature before further processing, to prevent viscosity for example. When bridging a distance (transport) during the production process, it may also be the case that solids need to be kept at the same temperature, perhaps in order to prevent sticking and smearing.
Our Celsius screw heat exchangers use water, thermal oil or electric tracing to cool or heat indirectly, ensuring that the temperature remains constant. Special coatings such as Teflon, prevent the product from sticking to the walls.
Thorough and easy cleaning is carried out by letting the screw heat exchanger do what it does best: heat and maintain the temperature. In this case, with water that flows into the thermal screw. By heating the screw heat exchanger, the water becomes warm and the machine is soaked clean. You can easily discharge it along with the rest of the product. Naturally, this requires a suitable water drainage connection. CIP (cleaning in place) integration is also one other option.
The Celsius screw heat exchanger can be connected to many existing installations, it can be located in a number of (small) spaces, and it can bridge various distances.
