‘We preserve nature’s precious gifts’ has been the slogan adopted by ARDO B.V. for more than forty years. The Zundert-based company is Europe’s largest frozen fruit and vegetable producer. Van Beek has supplied Ardo with a closed system of three trough conveyors, and in doing so has helped ensure that the red cabbage retains its taste, colour and shape while it is processed into a frozen vegetable product. With special facilities – such as CIP lines, flat-body ball valves and bead-blasted finishes – the red cabbage can be hygienically conveyed, while ensuring optimum cleanability of the screw conveyors.Read more

In a short time Van Beek has supplied six Dinos to five different end users in the sugar industry.Read more

The European process industry has in recent years steadily lost market position to Asia. This is partly due to that fact that since the end of the 20th century rapid industrialisation has been taking place in this continent. In Asian particular the “Asian Tigers”, like Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong have in the past 30 years made great industrial progress. But also for example Thailand, Malaysia, India and above all China are working hard to industrialise their economy. Van Beek has already been working successfully for 15 years with its Chinese agent, Compass Bulk Handling System Pte Ltd, for deliveries to the Asian process industry. We visited Mr. George Lee, managing director of Compass Bulk Handling System Pte Ltd, in Beijing and asked him a number of questions. You will probably also be interested in his answers and we would like to share them with you.Read more
In a dark workshop ‘old Mr Van Beek’ worked on an imposing machine. We are talking about Sprang-Cappelle in 1958. Van Beek Sr. built on a unique screw roller, composed of materials that he had collected from demolition yards. A truck gearbox, bearings from a tram and gearwheels from a tank. Untrained and without any theoretical knowledge he constructed a colossal innovation, thought up entirely on his own.Read more
