An agitator prevents bridging, ensuring the (dosing) screw is properly filled, and the buffer or bunker is fully utilised with no dead product areas.
The customer-specific Van Beek agitators are available in single or multiple versions, and are engineered according to the type of product or load. We also supply agitators for square funnels and hoppers. When designing our agitators, we take into account the (large) torque needed to set the agitator arm in motion and keep it in motion.
