The Blue Zone is our fully equipped testing facility in Drunen, specially designed to test and develop screw conveyor systems under real-life scenarios. Here, we conduct customer-specific tests, evaluate prototypes and support ongoing innovations. This enables us to determine how products behave during transport, whether issues such as blockages or build-up may occur, and whether additional modifications are required. The Blue Zone is also where we test and develop products, and where we welcome customers from the Netherlands and abroad.
The Blue Zone operates as a fully equipped, stand-alone testing facility: entirely separate from production, it includes flexible connections, specialised measuring equipment and a private consultation area. Customers can attend their tests live, or work in a quiet environment or hold meetings while we prepare or modify the setup. Thanks to its permanent layout, hygienic design and professional equipment, we can switch between test configurations quickly and efficiently.
The Blue Zone is divided into two areas:
The Blue Zone is used for customer tests, prototype evaluations, and the assessment of innovations. In addition it is used for internal demonstrations, training sessions, internships and workshops.
We often start a test with a product analysis. We have a measuring setup to measure and analyse various product properties. These include bulk density, angle of repose, angle of dumping and moisture content.
Our test area features multiple machines and systems that enable realistic and varied test configurations, including:
