The director of Van Beek Schroeftransport, Perry Verberne, is the new chairman of the Machevo & Bulk Association. Tom Pruymboom (director of Ziemann Holvrieka) transferred the chairmanship to Verberne during the network event Machevo Connect on 4 December last.
Verberne has already been on the board since the end of 2015. At the time he followed in the footsteps of his colleague at Van Beek. As chairman Verberne will focus mainly on strengthening the visibility of Machevo and increasing links between the different members.
Network function
According to Verberne we have to learn with and from one another. “The members must see a clear advantage in membership through the network function of Machevo, which is of course in addition to the financial advantages in the field of meetings and trade fair costs.”
